Girls in love.....

The other day i was talking to my "blonde" friend n she said its amazing how the most independent of girls become totally girlie wen they are in love. I didnt give it much thought then but lately I realised how right she is. (Ofcourse she will gloat about the fact that she is always right!!).

Anyways ... so this realisation came to me after my better half left for India. I simply cannot seem to be getting anything done these day..The height of my dependence came out when i went grocery shopping for the whole month just because he wont be there... (my logic i didnot want to go with anyone else!!) ......n I wont be going shopping during Thanksgiving because P is not here(the people who know me know how much I love to shop!!) .... i did have a life b4 P and I did survive ... why then can i not think of doing one thing which does not involve P anymore.

The problem probably lies in the fact that even if i did want to get out of it everyone around me just wont let me. One of my roomates asked me if i am eating probably (can understand her well meaning concerns) another asked me if i still eat under the tree( our regular spot) and to top this all today the cleaning guy stopped to ask me what happened to my other half. Upon being told about his trip he very seriously asked me "how could you let him go for a month ? what are you going to do ?? " ... which sent me into another bout of depression :(

As Ps sister told me the other day ... we are so involved that we forget we had a life b4 them. But even if we did try to remember, all the well meaning concerned people( i dont mean to disrespect anyone here) just wont let you. So there u r .. a girl in love whos bf left for foreign lands for one whole month (tsk tsk .. wat will she do know ?? ).

.... My phone bills are shooting up ... my rich frnds ( in Capone ,in Schlums, n the one who bought the IBM comp ) have to bail me out of my debts very soon!!
